Private Instruction Attendance/Payment Policies (3/1/08):
- A one-time, non-refundable, per-family Registration Fee of $15 is
to be paid prior to the first lesson. If the student un-enrolls and
later re-enrolls, the registration fee will be applied again.
- Tuition for a weekly 30-minute* lesson is $20 per lesson, payable
monthly in advance at the beginning of each month.
- There are no refunds or credits for student absences, therefore, there
is no reduction in tuition for a missed lesson. In case of a student
absence, the instructor may provide a make-up lesson at his or her discretion
and convenience if a make-up lesson is requested.
- Tuition may be adjusted for vacations or other pre-arranged absences
with a minimum of 14 days’ notice. Lesson times may not be held
for prolonged vacations or for an entire summer vacation. Individual
arrangements may be made in the case of prolonged illness or other extraordinary
circumstances.
- Should it become necessary for an instructor to cancel a lesson, the
instructor may provide a make-up lesson at his or her discretion and
convenience. If the Center is closed (e.g. holiday, inclement weather,
etc.) or the instructor cancels a lesson and the lesson is not rescheduled,
the student will be credited $20 for the missed lesson.
- Monthly tuition must be paid in full prior to the first lesson of
the month. The Center may refuse to conduct lessons if your account
is not paid in full. Please help us keep our costs down by keeping your
account current.
- Please make all checks payable to Grace Center for the Arts.
*Longer lesson times (45 or 60 minutes) , bi-weekly, or
semi-private lessons are sometimes available at the instructor's discretion.
In such cases, the monthly tuition fee is adjusted accordingly.
